Our Search Process

We hustle.

The deadline for applications is Friday, April 13th, but we reserve the right to extend the deadline if we don’t find our match. Online applications will be received and reviewed by a subcommittee of the governing body on a rolling basis. Candidates will be informed no later than mid-March as to whether or not they will continue in the process. There will be a series of interviews as candidates progress through the process, and finalists will be expected to interview with the full governing body, department heads and select community leaders.

As a part of the online application process, candidates will be expected to provide the following:

  • Contact Information
  • Current Employment Details
  • Specific Relevant Experience (Check Boxes)
  • Cover Letter
  • Resume
  • Prepared Budget and/or Writing Samples
  • 3 References

Confidentiality: Candidates names and/or personal information will not be published or provided unless required by law.  The governing body will seek permission from finalists before making any announcements or scheduling interviews.

Wait, what happened to the last person?

We love him and he loves us (you can certainly reach out to him and ask him to spill the beans).  He was given a great opportunity in a neighboring town in which there’s no doubt he’ll kill it.  Big shoes to fill. The good news?  He’s working with the governing body on transition items and closeout memos and is absolutely available to the new administrator.  He’s committed to consulting with and assisting whomever assumes the role and, in his words, “I’m only 10-minutes away.”
